Spartan CC Runners Earn 7 Conference Awards at Conference Championships

Yesterday evening was the Metro East Conference Championships. The boys varsity team finished 7th, girls varsity 4th and achieved their goal of closing the gap on Hastings to 3 points, when at at the Conference Preview they lost to Hastings by 37 points. Tonight, the Simley Cross Country teams hosted the annual Simley Invite on the campus trails and fields. Simley CC Competes at Austin Packer Invite

Wearing brand new uniforms, the Simley Cross Country teams competed in their first official competition of the season at the Packer Invite, hosted by Austin High School. Schauer, Bonilla Rios Win 4th Annual Team Intrasquad

The 2019 Simley Cross Country is off and running. On Saturday, Aug. 17th, the team ran the 4th Annual Intrasquad race on an adjusted Simley Invite course. This year was special as 28 runners competed, the highest number of finishers ever, our first alumni runner competed (Tim Wilmot, 2018), and we had two new winners.
