How It Happened
The Spartans found themselves down 0-1 going into the halftime break. They started the second half strong maintaining more possession and pressing Henry Sibley. Scoring for the Spartans in the 54th minute was sophomore Ella Tuccitto on a pass from freshman Taylor Ralston. The play started from the back line as junior defender Ellah Larson sent a long ball in the air forward and found the head of senior midfielder Grace Spiewak who flicked the ball to Ralston. Ralston was able to beat her defender and found a wide open Tuccitto who fired a one-time shot over the outstretched hands of Henry Sibley’s goalkeeper.

Prior to the kickoff, the Spartans honored their 12 senior soccer girls. Thank you seniors for your leadership and dedication! We know this isn’t how any of you expected to start your senior season. Having to wear a mask and staying 6-feet from your friends is hard on people mentally – you have risen to the challenge. We are proud of the student athletes you have become on and off the pitch over the last 4 years!
