Simley had a touch of Hawaii last night as the students filled the gym dressed in Hawaiian apparel. The team handed out Hawaiian Leis to students for free entry into the game. A big thank you to the students for making it a fun atmosphere for the game.

St. Croix started the game out fast taking the lead, but Simley responded quickly and the game went back and forth during the 1st half. Simley scored at the end of the half to take a 3 point lead at half 25-22. The 2nd half was a different story as Simley came out and controlled the half at both ends. They held St. Croix to 8 points in the 2nd have and started the half on a 13-0 run. The Spartans showed great ball control in the last 5 minutes of the game running most of the clock down at the end to secure the victory 43-30. St. Croix had scored 75+ points three of the past four games, but Simley held them to 30 points.

Spartans had good balanced scoring with Sydney Stensgard, Tiwaah Danso, Sydney Runsewe and Guresi Mena having 10, 8, 8 and 7 points respectively. Ravyn Miles, Bonita Franco and Chaemp Danso all had 3 points each.

The night closed out with a big game of Lighning after the game with Evan Johnson winning the Chipotle gift card.

Mahalo to all the fans that came to support the girls team last night.
