Concussion Screenings

Welcome back, athletes! Here is the tentative schedule for concussion screenings: *These are the ONLY times your team will have concussion testing* Men’s Soccer on Monday 08/15 – Seniors and Juniors @ 10 AM or after practice Men’s Soccer on Tuesday and Wednesday – TBD   Football on Tuesday 08/16 – Seniors @ 11 AM Football

Girls 2016 Track and Field Season Recap

At the end of the school year, Simley Track and Field closed out the season with Conference, Sections, and the State meet. Conference Awards included Amanda Mertens – 4th in the 800 meter run and Zoe Stone – 1st in High Jump, 2nd in Long Jump, and 2nd in Triple Jump. Section Results include Sarah Kruse –

Girls Swim & Dive

1st Day of Practice begins on Tuesday, August 16 at the WSP YMCA from 7:00-9:00am. Afternoon Practice at The Grove from 3:00-5:30pm.

Sokol and Short Honored at Twins Game

  Ryan Sokol and Quayin Short participated on the Minnesota Schoolboy National team that competed in Indianapolis in May. The team from Minnesota won the national championship in freestyle and in greco-roman wrestling. Ryan and Quayin will be honored at the Minnesota Twins game on Saturday at Target field.

Kerkvliet and Jackson All Americans

Greg Kerkvliet placed 3rd at 195lbs at the USA Cadet Freestyle National championships in Fargo, North Dakota. Greg had over 70 wrestlers from 48 states in his weight division. Greg won 8 matches and his only loss came to the eventual champion 12-10. Anthony Jackson placed 4th at 152lbs. Anthony went 5-2 on the tournament.
